After lunch in Kigali, you will drive north to Volcanoes National Park, enjoying scenic countryside views along the way. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, your guide will transfer you to the park headquarters for a briefing by Rwanda Development Board rangers. You will receive guidelines on gorilla trekking and then proceed into the forest accompanied by experienced trackers.
The trek to find a habituated gorilla family takes approximately 4–7 hours, depending on their location. Once found, you will spend one magical hour observing and photographing these gentle giants in their natural habitat.
After the trek, return to the lodge for a short rest. Later in the afternoon, visit the Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village, where you will enjoy traditional dances, music, and insights into local Rwandan culture and community life.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Following an early breakfast, you will head back to the park offices with packed lunch and enough drinking water. After a safety briefing by park rangers, begin your Mount Bisoke hike.
The hike takes approximately 6–8 hours round trip and requires a good level of physical fitness. The trail can be muddy, especially during the rainy season, but the rewarding highlight is the stunning crater lake at the summit.
After descending, return to your lodge to relax, enjoy dinner, and overnight.

After breakfast, return to the park headquarters for golden monkey tracking. These endangered primates are endemic to the Virunga Mountains and are easily spotted due to their habituation to humans.
The trek lasts about 3–4 hours, offering excellent photographic opportunities as the monkeys leap through bamboo forests.
After the activity, return to the lodge for lunch, then transfer back to Kigali. Your guide will drop you off at your hotel or Kigali International Airport in time for your departure flight.
