Upon arrival in Rwanda, you will be warmly welcomed by a professional guide from Experiya Tour Company. After a short safari briefing, you will begin your scenic drive northwards to Musanze, the gateway to Volcanoes National Park.
As you journey through the countryside, sweeping views of terraced hillsides, rolling farmlands, and vibrant rural communities unfold before you. Gradually, the landscape rises toward the dramatic Virunga Volcanoes, whose mist-covered peaks create a breathtaking backdrop.
On arrival at your lodge, you will check in, relax, and enjoy dinner as you prepare for the exciting adventures ahead.

After an early breakfast, you will transfer to the Volcanoes National Park headquarters for a detailed briefing by park rangers. Shortly afterward, you will begin your first gorilla trekking experience, hiking through bamboo forests and lush vegetation in search of a habituated mountain gorilla family.
Once the gorillas are located, you will spend a magical hour observing them in their natural habitat them feed, play, groom, and interact. This intimate, face-to-face encounter is often described as life-changing and is undoubtedly one of Africa’s most extraordinary wildlife experiences.
Following the trek, return to the lodge for lunch and some well-deserved rest. Later in the afternoon, enjoy a relaxed excursion to the scenic Twin Lakes of Burera and Ruhondo, surrounded by rolling hills and traditional villages, offering excellent photography opportunities.

Begin the day with an early breakfast before returning to the park headquarters for a briefing on golden monkey tracking. These playful and endangered primates inhabit the bamboo zones of Volcanoes National Park and are famous for their energetic movements and striking golden-orange fur.
Accompanied by expert guides, you will track the monkeys in small groups of no more than six people. The experience is both active and engaging, providing fantastic opportunities for wildlife photography.
After the trek, return to the lodge to freshen up before embarking on a scenic cross-border drive into Uganda. Passing through beautiful countryside and border communities, you will eventually arrive at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

After an early breakfast, transfer to the Bwindi park headquarters for your second gorilla trekking briefing. By 8:00 a.m., you will set off into the dense rainforest accompanied by experienced Uganda Wildlife Authority guides.
Gorilla trekking in Bwindi is more challenging, yet incredibly rewarding. The time spent searching varies depending on the gorillas’ movements. Once located, you will again enjoy a memorable hour observing these gentle giants in their natural environment.
After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. Later in the afternoon, if time and energy allow, you may opt for a community walk to interact with local residents and learn about daily life around the forest.

Following breakfast, with packed lunch, you will take part in the Batwa cultural experience. The Batwa are the original forest dwellers of Bwindi, and during this visit you will learn about their traditional lifestyle, survival skills, music, dance, and cultural heritage.
Later in the day, continue your journey to Lake Mburo National Park, Uganda’s smallest savannah park. Upon arrival, enjoy an afternoon boat cruise on the lake, offering close-up views of hippos, crocodiles, pelicans, cormorants, African fish eagles, and occasionally the rare shoebill stork.

After an early breakfast, set out for a morning game drive in Lake Mburo National Park. The park is well known for its zebras, buffaloes, elands, topis, waterbucks, and rich birdlife. With some luck, you may also spot leopards during the early hours.
