Detailed Itinerary
Day One: Travel to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
After arriving at Entebbe International Airport, your Experiya Tour Company guide will meet you and transfer you to your hotel for a brief rest and breakfast. From there, your adventure begins as you drive toward south-western Uganda.
Along the way, enjoy scenic views of rural and semi-urban Uganda, passing bustling markets, local craft and drum workshops, and picturesque villages. Stop at the Equator line to take memorable photos and shop for authentic souvenirs.
Continue your journey to Mbarara city for lunch before heading deeper into the highlands toward Bwindi Forest. During the drive, capture the stunning landscapes with short stopovers for photos.
You will arrive in Bwindi in the late afternoon, check into your lodge, relax, and enjoy a delicious dinner.

Day Two: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Rise early for breakfast before heading to the Bwindi Park headquarters, where experienced rangers from Experiya Tour Company will brief you on gorilla trekking rules and safety protocols. You will then be grouped with fellow trekkers (maximum 8 per group) and set off into the forest.
The trek can take anywhere from 3 to 8 hours, depending on the gorillas’ location. While trekking, you’ll be immersed in Bwindi’s lush ecosystem, surrounded by towering trees, exotic plants, and sounds of the forest wildlife.
Once you locate a gorilla family, spend one unforgettable hour observing these gentle giants up close, capturing moments on camera, and learning about their behavior from your guide. This encounter is truly magical and a highlight of any African safari.
After the trek, you will receive a Gorilla Trek Certificate as a keepsake of your achievement. Return to your lodge for lunch, relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day Three: Return to Kampala or Entebbe
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the lodge before starting your scenic drive back to Kampala or Entebbe. On the way, you may pass Lake Mburo National Park, where zebras, impalas, and other wildlife can sometimes be spotted along the route.
Arrive in Kampala or Entebbe in the afternoon, concluding your 3-day gorilla trekking adventure with Experiya Tour Company, ready to catch your flight home or continue your Ugandan safari journey.
