Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport
Your unforgettable safari begins upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport. Upon landing, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional driver-guide from Experiya Tour Company, who will brief you about the safari and the exciting experiences ahead.
Depending on your arrival time, you may choose to relax at your hotel or enjoy an optional city tour around Entebbe. You can also visit nearby craft markets, local shops, or lakeside areas while preparing for the adventure ahead.
The rest of the evening is reserved for relaxation and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After an early breakfast, you will begin the scenic journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in southwestern Uganda. Although the drive is long, it is incredibly rewarding because it showcases some of Uganda’s most beautiful landscapes.
Along the way, you will stop at the Equator for photographs and a brief water experiment demonstration. This stop also provides an opportunity to purchase souvenirs and local crafts.
Afterward, you will continue the journey with an en-route lunch at a selected restaurant before proceeding through rolling hills, terraced farmlands, and green countryside villages. As you approach Bwindi, the cool mountain air and mist-covered forests create a magical atmosphere.
Upon arrival in the evening, you will check into your lodge, enjoy dinner, and relax as you prepare for the gorilla habituation experience the following day.

Day 3: Gorilla Habituation Experience in Bwindi
This is the highlight of your safari. After an early breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters for a briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers about gorilla habituation rules and safety guidelines.
Following the briefing, you will enter the dense rainforest of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in search of a semi-habituated gorilla family. The trek can take several hours depending on the gorillas’ movements, but every moment within the forest is filled with adventure and discovery.
During the trek, you may encounter several primate species, including black-and-white colobus monkeys, L’Hoest’s monkeys, baboons, and chimpanzees. The forest is also home to colorful bird species, butterflies, and unique plant life.
Once the gorillas are located, you will spend up to four hours observing their behavior alongside researchers and trackers. Watching the silverback lead and protect the family is both emotional and unforgettable.
