Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

Your adventure begins with a morning pick-up from your hotel in Entebbe. Meet your guide and start your journey to Murchison Falls National Park. Enjoy a scenic drive through the Ugandan countryside, with a stop for lunch in Masindi. Arrive in the park in the late afternoon. Check in at your lodge and relax before dinner.

Day 2: Game Drive and Nile Boat Safari

Start your day with an early breakfast before heading out on a morning game drive. Explore the northern bank of the Nile, where you can spot a variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, and numerous antelope species. Return to the lodge for lunch and some relaxation.

In the afternoon, embark on a boat safari along the Nile River. Cruise towards the base of Murchison Falls, enjoying sightings of hippos, crocodiles, and a plethora of bird species. Disembark at the base of the falls and hike to the top for a breathtaking view of the powerful Murchison Falls, where the Nile River plunges through a narrow gorge. Day 3: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

After breakfast, depart for Kibale National Park, known for its dense rainforest and high concentration of primates. The drive takes you through beautiful landscapes, including tea plantations and traditional Ugandan villages. Stop for lunch en route in Fort Portal. Arrive in Kibale in the late afternoon. Day 4: Chimpanzee Trekking and Bigodi Swamp Walk

After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing on chimpanzee trekking. Accompanied by an experienced ranger, embark on a thrilling trek through the forest to locate the chimpanzees. Watch these fascinating primates as they go about their daily activities, from grooming each other to foraging for food. Return to the lodge for lunch and some relaxation.

Day 5: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Day 7: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and Departure

Led by experienced guides, trek through the dense forest in search of a gorilla family. Once you locate the gorillas, spend a magical hour observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat. Return to the lodge for lunch and some relaxation.

After lunch, begin your journey back to Entebbe. Enjoy the scenic drive through the Ugandan countryside. Arrive in Entebbe in the evening, where you will be dropped off at your preferred location or the airport, marking the end of your 7-day Uganda Safari.
