How to Get to the Ssese Islands

Travelers can reach Kalangala Bay on Buggala Island by ferry from Nakiwogo Dock, located just south of Entebbe. The ferry departs daily at 2:00 pm and takes approximately three and a half hours.

Return ferries operate daily from Kalangala Bay to Nakiwogo Dock. In addition, Bulago Island connects via speedboats, lake taxis, and private boats, with an airstrip currently under development.
