It is the only park in Uganda where you can find impalas, and the only one in western Uganda where you can see zebras, giraffes, and elands. Visitors can explore a variety of exciting activities and attractions that make every safari memorable.
Game drives in Lake Mburo can be done in the morning, afternoon, or evening. The best times, however, are early morning and late afternoon when animals are most active. On these drives, you can spot giraffes, zebras, elands, topis, impalas, and numerous bird species.
For a unique experience, night game drives allow you to search for nocturnal wildlife. You may encounter bushbabies, pottos, and with some luck, the elusive leopard.

The park offers accommodation options for all budgets:
Rates generally range from $90 per night for budget travelers to $400 for luxury options.
The best time to visit is during the dry seasons, from December to February and June to October. During these months, roads are passable, and animals gather around water points, making sightings easier. The park is, however, open all year, and each season offers unique experiences.
