Detailed Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Fly to Kidepo Valley and Afternoon Game Drive

Your journey begins early with a pick‑up from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe. Shortly afterward, you transfer to Entebbe International Airport or Kajjansi Airfield for your scheduled domestic flight to Kidepo Valley National Park.

During the approximately two‑hour flight, Uganda’s landscapes unfold beneath you, gradually shifting from lush central regions to the dramatic savannahs of Karamoja. Upon landing at Kidepo Valley Airstrip, your safari guide welcomes you and transfers you to your lodge.

After checking in, you enjoy lunch and take time to relax, whether by the pool or while soaking in the peaceful wilderness surroundings. Later in the afternoon, you head out on your first game drive.
