


Uganda, famously known as the “Pearl of Africa,” offers a rare blend of breathtaking landscapes, abundant wildlife, and unforgettable cultural encounters. This 7-day safari takes you on a thrilling journey across some of Uganda’s most iconic national parks from the roaring Murchison Falls to the chimpanzee-filled Kyambura Gorge, the vast Kazinga Channel, and the mystical Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home to the endangered mountain gorillas. Along the way, you’ll witness elephants, lions, hippos, and exotic birds, while exploring lush forests, tranquil lakes, and local communities. Upon arrival at Entebbe Airport, our company representative and driver-guide will welcome you and start your journey to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest and most diverse wildlife sanctuary.
En route, you will visit Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a thrilling 2–3 hour rhino tracking experience. Afterward, enjoy lunch in Masindi town before continuing to the park. Check into Paraa Safari Lodge for dinner and overnight stay. Here, you’ll be surrounded by the wild beauty of Uganda, setting the tone for the adventures ahead.
Start your day with an early breakfast and head out for a morning game drive on the northern banks of the Nile. Expect sightings of elephants, Rothschild giraffes, lions, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, oribis, waterbucks, and other fascinating wildlife. Return to the lodge for lunch and a short rest.
In the afternoon, embark on a boat cruise along the Nile to the bottom of Murchison Falls. Marvel at the thundering waterfalls and spot hippos, crocodiles, and birds such as kingfishers, cormorants, bee-eaters, and the rare shoebill stork.
Next, hike up the falls via Baker’s Trail, enjoying spectacular views as the Nile plunges through a narrow 7-meter gorge into a 40-meter chasm. Meet your driver at the top and return to Paraa Safari Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, set out on a scenic drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, located in Western Uganda’s Kasese district. En route, enjoy lunch and stunning views of rolling hills and local communities. Arrive in the park by late afternoon and check into Park View Safari Lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.
Begin the day with an early breakfast and depart for chimpanzee tracking in Kyambura Gorge. Hike down the gorge, exploring lush tropical forests and searching for the playful chimps. You’ll also see black-and-white colobus monkeys, olive baboons, and other primates. Tracking usually takes 2–5 hours, depending on chimpanzee movements.
Return to the lodge to refresh, then enjoy an afternoon boat safari along Kazinga Channel, famous for the highest concentration of hippos in Africa. Spot elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, crocodiles, and a variety of birds along the riverbanks. Conclude the day with dinner and overnight at Park View Safari Lodge.
After an early breakfast, depart for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, passing through Ishasha sector to spot the iconic tree-climbing lions. Continue through scenic landscapes and enjoy lunch en route. Arrive at Bwindi in the late afternoon and settle in at Mahogany Springs Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Wake up early for breakfast and a briefing from Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) officials before embarking on the ultimate adventure: gorilla trekking. Traverse the thick forest and rugged terrain in search of the endangered mountain gorillas.
When you encounter them, enjoy an unforgettable one-hour close-up experience, observing their playful interactions, feeding habits, and family dynamics. The trek may last 2–8 hours depending on gorilla movement. Along the way, spot other primates, colorful birds, and exotic flora. Afterward, receive your gorilla trekking certificate, return to Mahogany Springs Lodge, relax, and enjoy dinner.
After breakfast, begin the journey back to Kampala. Stop for lunch in Mbarara or Masaka and enjoy a brief stop at the Equator at Kayabwe for fun water experiments and photos. You will also visit the Royal Drum Village in Mpambire for souvenirs and cultural immersion. Continue to Kampala, refresh, and transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
