Over six unforgettable days, you will track chimpanzees in Kibale Forest National Park, come face to face with endangered mountain gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, and explore the rich wildlife of Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for its scenic Kazinga Channel and diverse ecosystems.
Along the way, you will travel through lush tropical forests, rolling tea plantations, crater lakes, open savannah plains, and welcoming local communities—creating a safari that feels both adventurous and deeply personal.
Depending on your arrival time at Entebbe International Airport, your professional guide from Experiya Tour Company will warmly welcome you and begin the scenic drive to Kibale Forest National Park via Mubende and Fort Portal.
As you journey west, enjoy breathtaking views of rolling hills, terraced tea plantations, farmland, and rural villages. After lunch in Fort Portal, continue through the picturesque crater lakes region before heading to Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary.
Here, enjoy a guided 2-hour nature walk, spotting a variety of bird species and primates such as black-and-white colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, and baboons. In the evening, transfer to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Accommodation Options
After an early breakfast, drive to Kanyanchu Park Headquarters for a briefing before chimpanzee tracking. At around 8:00 a.m., begin your guided trek through Kibale’s lush rainforest in search of a habituated chimpanzee community.
Once located, you will spend one full hour observing the chimpanzees as they feed, play, groom, and swing through the forest canopy. You may also encounter other primates such as grey-cheeked mangabeys, L’Hoest’s monkeys, and baboons, as well as diverse forest birdlife.
After the trek, enjoy lunch before driving to Queen Elizabeth National Park (approximately 2–3 hours). Arrive in the park, check in at your lodge, relax, and enjoy dinner.
Accommodation Options
Start the day with an early breakfast before heading out for a morning game drive across the Kasenyi Plains. This is one of the best areas to spot wildlife, including elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, antelopes, and lions.
Return to the lodge for lunch and some rest. In the afternoon, enjoy a 2–3 hour boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, a natural waterway connecting Lake George and Lake Edward.
During the cruise, expect close-up sightings of hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, and a wide variety of bird species such as saddle-billed storks, pink-backed pelicans, African fish eagles, and malachite kingfishers. Later, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, depart for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Although the drive is long, it is incredibly rewarding, passing through ever-changing landscapes.
En route, drive through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions. Enjoy lunch along the way before continuing to Bwindi. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge, relax, and prepare for the next day’s gorilla trekking experience.

This is the highlight of your safari. After an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing by experienced rangers. You may hire a porter before setting off into the dense forest.
The trek can take 2 to 6 hours, depending on the gorilla family’s location. Once found, you will spend one magical hour observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat watching them feed, interact, and care for their young.
After the trek, return to your lodge to relax, freshen up, and enjoy a well-deserved dinner.

After breakfast, begin your return journey to Kampala via Kabale and Mbarara. Enjoy scenic views of rolling hills, lush vegetation, and farmlands along the way.
