Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, our representative will meet you and provide a brief orientation. If you’re already in Kigali, pickup will be from your hotel.
Enjoy a guided Kigali city tour, visiting highlights such as the Gisozi Genocide Memorial and bustling local markets. In the afternoon, drive north to Volcanoes National Park in Musanze. Check into your lodge and unwind while enjoying the serene mountain views.
Accommodation Options:
After breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing. Accompanied by a trained ranger guide, trek through the lush jungle to encounter the majestic mountain gorillas. The trek can last several hours depending on gorilla movements, and you’ll spend up to one hour observing these gentle giants.
Return to your lodge for lunch, then visit the Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village to experience traditional Rwandan customs, dances, and daily life. Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge.
Begin the day with golden monkey tracking or a hike to Dian Fossey’s tomb and the Karisoke Research Center ruins. Enjoy scenic views and learn about Rwanda’s conservation history.
