Tour Highlights
This 10-day flying safari across Uganda reveals not only extraordinary wildlife but also the living traditions of its kingdoms and communities.
Your journey begins in the Buganda Kingdom, where Entebbe’s lakeside charm introduces you to Uganda’s rhythm of life. From here, you travel to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, tracking endangered white rhinos on foot, and an inspiring conservation success story.
Continuing north into the historic Bunyoro Kingdom, you enter Murchison Falls National Park, where the Nile surges through a narrow six-meter gorge. Vast savannahs host elephants, giraffes, buffalo, lions, and elusive leopards, while boat safaris reveal hippos, crocodiles, and birdlife along the riverbanks.
As the journey turns south, you enter the lush landscapes of the Toro Kingdom, home to crater lakes and tea estates beneath the Rwenzori Mountains. In Kibale Forest, chimpanzees call through the canopy, and cultural encounters bring you closer to local traditions from coffee farming to herbal medicine.
Further on, Queen Elizabeth National Park unfolds with remarkable biodiversity. Game drives across Kasenyi plains reveal lions, elephants, and buffalo, while the Kazinga Channel hosts one of Africa’s highest concentrations of hippos.
In the remote Ishasha sector, you encounter the rare tree-climbing lions before continuing into Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, where nearly half of the world’s mountain gorillas reside. Here, you experience the unforgettable privilege of trekking to meet a gorilla family and visiting the renowned Gorilla Doctors, whose work safeguards these gentle giants.
Finally, a scenic flight back to Entebbe offers breathtaking aerial views of the Rift Valley, crater lakes, and volcanic peaks, an unforgettable conclusion to your Ugandan safari.
